Patna: Winter Carnival (in celebration of Christmas and New Year) program was organized by Nrityangan Hobby Center on Saturday at Shriyam Banquet and Heritage Hall in Pataliputra Colony of the capital Patna. The chief guest present on this occasion, former minister of Bihar government, and RJD leader Shyam Rajak, special guest AORS K Mishra of Patna High Court and Mausam Sharma, the director of the institute, duly started the program by jointly lighting the lamp. Social worker and RJD leader Madhu Manjari, Ritu Jaiswal, Babita Sinha, Sudhakar Mishra, Anubha Anand, Rajesh Raj, Sangeeta Verma, Prem Kumar and Kumar were present as guests in the program.
After this, the children of the dancer captivated the people by presenting more than one beautiful dance-music. Various types of fun games, food and drinks, disco-dj, bonfire, dance etc. were also enjoyed by the people in the winter carnival. The main attraction of the program was the Winter Look Competition in which the children and women of the institute participated enthusiastically. The best participants in the competition were selected by Chanda Gupta, Urmila Mishra and Archana Aryan as judges.
Talking about the program, Mausam Sharma, Director, Nrityangan Hobby Center said that this program has been organized for the entertainment of Patnaites so that they can make their Christmas and New Year celebrations memorable. Through this program we try to provide a powerful platform for the children to showcase their skills in front of their parents.
He informed that the program has been organized keeping in mind the covid instructions issued by the government so that the people coming to the program can stay safe. People have had a lot of fun in today's program and after covid the need for such events has increased even more so that people can enjoy these festivities with some respite moments. Mausam Sharma also made people aware of what kind of exercises should be done in cold weather. At the end of the program, the winners were honored with attractive gifts by the visiting guests. Many dignitaries of Patna including the personnel of Nrityangan Hobby Center were present on the occasion.
