In order to deal with the drought situation, it has been decided to provide diesel subsidy of Rs 60 per liter to the farmers for the cultivation of Kharif crops. According to the information received, 10 liters of diesel consumption is being estimated in one acre area. Farmers will be given diesel subsidy for maximum five acres of Kharif crops. Apart from this, the facility will also be provided to the farmers for irrigation through electricity and canals.
