The teenager lives with her family members in Jahangirpuri area of Delhi. On August 19, the victim's family had complained to the police about the rape over phone. He told that the accused lives in his neighbourhood. There was friendship between the two. The victim alleges that on August 19, the accused first took her to a room by luring her and there the accused gave her a soft drink to drink. The girl fainted as soon as she drank it. When the victim regained consciousness, seeing her condition, the victim realized wrongdoing with her and after reaching home she told the whole thing to her mother. After this the information was given to the police.
The police first got the victim counseling done and then got the medical done. After confirming the rape, the police registered a case. According to police officials, the accused is absconding since the complaint was registered. Search for him is going on.
