4 jawans injured after being hit by IED blast: They had gone out on area domination in Bijapur, suddenly the explosion took place due to the foot on the IED
Four CRPF personnel have been injured after being hit by a pressure IED in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district. All the injured jawans have been brought to the Bijapur District Hospital. It is being told that since Tuesday morning, the personnel of CRPF 153rd Battalion had gone out on the Bijapur-Bhopalpatnam main road for area domination, when the blast took place. The incident happened just 10 km away from Bijapur district headquarters. Bijapur ASP Pankaj Shukla has confirmed the matter.
According to the information, CRPF personnel had gone out for area domination in the area as usual. Meanwhile, Maoists had already installed pressure IEDs on the Bijapur-Bhopalpatnam-Usoor T point on the side of the road to harm the soldiers. Meanwhile, during the search, suddenly the feet of the soldiers came on the IED. Which caused a loud bang. A total of 4 jawans were injured in the blast. All the injured jawans belong to the CRPF 153rd Battalion.
