Big news is coming out of Bihar at this time. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is conducting raids at four places in Bihar since this morning in connection with its links to the extremist organization Popular Front of India (PFI) in the Phulwari Sharif case. NIA officials have given information about this.
Two teams of NIA also reached Urdu Mohalla of Laheriasarai police station in Darbhanga district and Shankarpur village of Singhwada police station. NIA raided the houses of PFI members Sanaullah alias Aaqib and Mustaqeem in Shankarpur. At the same time, intensive search was conducted in the house of Nuruddin Jangi in Urdu locality.
A seven-member team of NIA reached Shankarpur at 6 am. A seven-member team raided the Urdu locality from 7 am to 09.30 am.
NIA team reached Chakia and Motihari this morning. NIA is searching the house of PFI General Secretary Riyaz Moruf alias Bablu in Kuwan village of Chakia. The NIA team has reached Riyaz's ancestral home along with Chakia and Mehsi police stations where they are searching for terrorist connections of the people associated with him. However, Riyaz is still absconding and NIA is looking for him. What has been recovered from Riyaz's house? It is not known yet.
